Well!!!!!! What to say about this girl?A, 24 years old, 162 cms heighted girls with 64 kg of weight belongs to Rohtak (city of Haryana) make India proud. The one won an Olympic medal in the 58-kg category of women’s freestyle wrestling. The one who now become first Indian woman wrestler to win an Olympic medal in this category. Malik’s parents Mr Sukhbir Malik and mother Mrs. Sudesh Malik are extremely happy and not able to express their feeling. It is a proud moment for any parents when they see their child standing on the Olympic podium. I must say the whole credit goes to them along with her coach Mr Ishwar Dahiya.

Just a 12 years old girl started taking her training under the esteem guidance of Mr Ishwar Dahiya.
In the year 2010 when she was just 18 years old won her first competition with bronze medal at the Junior World Championship in the 59 kg category.
She started playing overseas with Schutlz International Wrestling Tournament in the 60 kg category and back with gold.
Then she went to 2014 Common wealth games held in Scotland. In this games she has won her quarterfinal match by 4-0 margin. In the semi-final she has won by 3-1 and assured her position for medal. But unfortunately in finals she has got defeated by her opponent by 4-0.
Later she went for World Wrestling Championship held in Uzbekistan on September 2014. She has won it by crashing her opponent by 4-1. But at last she has lost the finals
In the year 2015 She has bagged for Asian Wrestling Championship held in Qatar. In this tournament she has managed with a bronze medal in the 60kg category.
Now finally comes 2016 Olympic going on Rio. Sakshi Malik Won the bronze medal and became first Indian female wrestler and also the fourth female athlete who bring medal for India. With same score as opponent 5-5 and only 10 second left, Malik thought “I have seen the history changed in 2 seconds and I have more than that” With this thought she was able to steal 3 points and able to make difference in the scoring.
I must say there is no better gift she has given to India on 70th Independence day and there is no better gift she has given to her brothers on the auspicious occasion of rakhi.

हाल ही में चल रहे रियो ओलंपिक में हर तरफ से निराशा के बाद, 23 वर्ष की साक्षी मलिक ने 58 kg फ्री-स्टाइल रेसलिंग में ब्रोंज़ मैडल जीत कर देश को गौरवान्वित किया .साक्षी ने यह पदक महिला रेसलिंग के अंतर्गत जीता.
बारहवे दिन के इस खेल की शुरुवात में विरोधी रेसलर ने साक्षी पर बढ़त बना रखी थी. किसी भी तरह से साक्षी के जितने की कोई उम्मीद नहीं थी. साक्षी ने बुधवार को लगातार 12 घंटे मुकाबले किये. उनका यह मुकाबला किर्गिस्तान की रेसलर एसुलू तिनिवेकोवा के साथ था जिसमे एसुलू तिनिवेकोवा ने उन पर 5-0 से बढ़त बना रखी थी, खेल में उन पर 5 दाव थे लेकिन उन्होंने अपने हौसलों के साथ मुकाबले में वापसी की और मुकाबले को 5-8 से जीत लिया, साथ ही देश को पहला रियो ओलम्पिक 2016 कांस्य पदक दिलाया.
भारत पिछले 3 वर्षों से रेसलिंग में पदक जीत रहा हैं, इसके पहले यह पदक 2008 में सुशील कुमार और 2012 में योगेश्वर दत्त ने हासिल किया था. लेकिन साक्षी मलिक, महिला रेसलिंग में ओलंपिक पदक जितने वाली पहली महिला हैं. अब तक इस क्षेत्र में किसी महिला ने मैडल प्राप्त नहीं किया हैं, और साथ ही इस सीजन का पहला पदक भी साक्षी की मेहनत से ही प्राप्त हुआ हैं. जीत के बाद वे बेहद खुश थी, उन्होंने कहा उन्हें विश्वास था कि वो जीतेंगी, उनके दस वर्षो की मेहनत के बाद उन्हें अपने आप जीत को लेकर पूरा विश्वास था.
साक्षी मलिक, हरियाणा रोहतक की रहने वाली हैं, उनके परिवारजन उनकी जीत से बहुत खुश हैं. देर रात तक उनके निवास पर जश्न का माहौल था, उनके पिता ने बताया – साक्षी को जीत का पूरा विश्वास था, उनकी कड़ी मेहनत ने देश को गौरवान्वित किया हैं और वे इस बात से बेहद खुश हैं.
