Allied Health (Medical) Professionals Database Portal (a2hp.mohfw.gov.in)

To provide a more transparent tracking system the central government has launched a new web portal for the medical professionals in the country. This portal will record over Lakhs of names of allied professionals for tracking their details and so on. This portal will be an easy way to reach out to these medical professionals.

Launch Date And Details Of the Portal

On the first day of the New Year 2018, the portal was launched by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry. Ms. Preeti Sudan, HFW Secretary, while launching the portal, has stated that over 3000 people have already joined the portal when it was on testing phase. Key features

  • Objective: The main aim of this portal is to make available all the details of various medical professionals under one roof. Also it will be a transparent system to track the details of the medical professionals.
  • Need: According to Ms. Sudan, many a people are in need of healthcare professionals, especially young people. However this nation does not have any tracking system through which people can easily reach out to any medical professional people are in need. This portal will be a one stop solution for this problem.
  • Website capacity: As Ms. Sudan said that nearly 10 Lac people can register with the portal and can enter their details. They can also upload mandatory and important documents on the website for these 10 Lac people.
  • Who can enrol (Eligibility Criteria): Anyone who is an allied or healthcare professional such as cardiovascular technologists, assistant anaesthesia technicians, anaesthetists, audiologists, art therapists and so on can register with the portal. Anyone who is associated with such profession can join the portal.

How it works

Applicant will have to enrol their names with the portal. To do so they can visit the official portal. After entering the mandatory information in the portal, an email will be sent to the registered email ID of the applicant. After verification of the email ID, the applicant will receive login ID and Password for further use of the web portal.

With those login details the applicant can further log in to the portal and add/remove information. Also they can upload their educational documents such as certificate and so on by logging in.

To register with the portal one can click on the following link http://a2hp.mohfw.gov.in/Registration.aspx and fill up the given form. After filling up all the sections, you need to click on the ‘Submit’ button to finish the process. Afterwards you will get the email on your registered email ID containing the login details.

According to the reports India has 65% young population that aged below 35 years. However the entire young population is unable to reach out to any sort of healthcare help as there is no centralised system to reach them. This portal will be a medium for the government to track their details and to know about them.
